How do I add the bar to my store?
Install the app, save your threshold, messages, and colors, then open the theme editor. Use Enable announcement bar for every page, or Add block to header. Full steps are on the Tutorial and Docs pages.
Do I need to paste code into my theme?
No. The bar is a theme app extension. Add it from the theme editor. Do not edit theme files.
Which theme does the bar work with?
The announcement-bar embed works on every Shopify theme. The header app block needs an Online Store 2.0 theme. Vintage themes cannot add app blocks.
Can I use the embed and the header block together?
Use only one. If both are on, shoppers can see two bars.
Why is the bar white or unstyled?
Save settings in the app, then confirm the theme extension is enabled and published. Hard-refresh the storefront. Colors come from the settings you saved, not from editing CSS.
Does the bar use my store currency?
Yes. Remaining amounts use the shop currency from Shopify. There is no separate currency picker.
How much does the app cost?
There is one Pro plan: £2.99 per month or £29.90 per year, billed by Shopify. Open Plan in the app to approve, decline, or switch monthly and yearly. After a reinstall, approve the plan again from that page.
Does this app collect customer data?
No. It stores your shop domain, login session, and bar settings. It does not store customer names, emails, or orders. See the Privacy Policy.
What happens if I uninstall?
The app deletes its session and saved settings for your shop. Theme blocks from the app are removed. Shop metafields may remain until you delete them in Shopify.
